Lewis Hamilton stars on F1 25 cover in Ferrari colours as reveal date confirmed
EA Sports has officially lifted the curtain on F1 25 with an unveiling coming later this week.

F1 25, the next instalment of the popular EA Sports Formula 1 racing game, has been the subject of recent leaks. But if they're to be believed, then you'll want to mark May 30th on your calendars. Of course, with any rumour and leak, this information may be incorrect, so take this with a pinch of salt until it's been confirmed by EA Sports.
It has been confirmed that the official reveal of the game will come on March 26th, but according to leaks, it is set to fully launch in late May. Gone is the Champion's Edition, and welcome the Iconic Edition, which will feature Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari colours on the cover after his famous move from Mercedes for the 2025 season.

The game is set to be revealed on the 26th of this month. This will likely include game footage, a trailer, and maybe further details.

Buyers of the Iconic Edition will reportedly get early access to the game on 27 May, with most gamers getting access three days later. EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members could also get some form of early access.
Editions and pricing
The Standard Edition of the game is reportedly set to be priced at £49.99 / $59.99. The Iconic Edition is expected to cost £69.99 / $79.99.

Expected features
Official features are yet to be confirmed, but we can take a gander at what the passionate community expects.
F1 24 brought huge updates to the driver career mode, but gamers are expecting F1 25 to feature an updated My Team Career mode. After a substantial physics update for F1 24, it's likely that there won't be huge changes in this area. There are calls for classic cars and tracks to return, especially with the new Iconic branding.
With the current EA/Codemasters partnership with Formula 1 running out at the end of 2025, with the opportunity to extend to the 2026 and 2027 seasons, expectations are high.
