Malaysian GP Prost race notes

After two days under very hot conditions, the heavens opened over Sepang this morning. The showers stopped just before the warm-up. The weather cleared up until the start of the race ( which was at 15:00 local time). The Grand Prix was greatly disturbed by an aborted first start then on the second lap by another thunderous rain shower. This third Malaysian Grand Prix was a difficult race characterized by numerous incidents and retirements. The Prost Acer team managed to finish the race with two cars in 9th and 12th positions respectively.

"When it started raining, I thought I had a chance to achieve a good result. I was in 6th position when the safety car came out because of the rain. Unfortunately I suffered a lot of oversteer on wet tyres and I lost several places. Then when the track dried up, I kept quite a good pace but could only stay where I was. I am disappointed with this result."
