Monteiro pleased with Minardi test

F1 Test with Minardi in Misano went great for Tiago Monteiro

In spite of the biting cold this morning on the Misano circuit, in Italy, the Minardi team's program of tests suffered no changes from those planned, and Tiago Monteiro made another testing session with the Italian Formula 1 scuderia The team's test driver's mission was to prepare the balance of the car for the young men to whom Minardi is offering the chance to drive the PS04 Cosworth.

"It was very cold and the track was still quite wet. I did 22 laps of the circuit and was happy as I managed to get a good set up and in spite of the low temperatures I made good time. Besides being happy with my work, I received good words of encouragement from the team's engineers and from Giancarlo Minardi who supervised the tests again."

Once again the driver from Porto made a good impression on the technicians of a F1 team, repeating the events of 2002 in Barcelona when he tested the Renault R202, and what happened last September in Vallelunga, when he had his début as a test driver for Paul Stoddart's team.

The Formula 1 continues to be one of the options for Tiago Monteiro's career in 2005. And with 95 days to go until the start of the new season anything can happen.
