Midland Formula 1 Racing is pleased to announce that Tiago Monteiro will be joining his Dutch teammate, Christijan Albers, and the rest of the MF1 Racing team at the second-annual Bavaria City Racing road show in Rotterdam, Holland, on Sunday, August 20, 2006.

The participation of the popular Portuguese driver means that MF1 Racing will be the first Formula 1 team to have both of its race drivers in attendance for this dynamic event, which is expected to draw in excess of 300,000 spectators.

"It`s a great pleasure to be invited to such a gigantic event in Rotterdam," said Tiago Monteiro. "From what I`ve seen and heard, it`s a huge party for the fans, and that`s what motorsport should be about. I hope everyone will get a thrill out of seeing Christijan and I blast through the streets in the Midland M16. As for us drivers, it will be nice change of pace as we get to enjoy a bit of F1 without all the stress and pressure of actually competing!"

"We are very honoured that Tiago will be joining Christijan for the demo here in Rotterdam," added Herman Vaanholt, Promoter of Bavaria City Racing. "We really appreciate that he is taking the time to come to our event, and we are sure that all the Dutch fans will give him and the entire team a very warm and enthusiastic welcome."
