Juan Pablo Montoya won the German Grand Prix last year and is hoping for a repeat performance next weekend. The Williams man was on pole position at Hockenheim in 2003 and took the victory by over a minute from McLaren's David Coulthard. Williams' performance has been a bit lacklustre recently and Montoya isn't expecting an easy time in Germany.

"The last victory I had was at last year's Grand Prix in Hockenheim, so it would be good to win again this year," he said. "It would also be a great boost for the team, and increase our points tally, but we know that it won't be easy as our competitors are more aggressive than ever. Nevertheless, we have always performed well at this track and that gives us more confidence."
Williams has confirmed that tester Antonio Pizzonia will drive the second racecar in Germany, deputising for Ralf Schumacher. The team's official third driver Marc Gen? was behind the wheel in France and Britain but Williams decided to give Pizzonia a chance.
"The BMW WilliamsF1 Team will have an all South American driver line up at the German Grand Prix, so I wish Antonio all the best," said Montoya. "I'll also be doing my best to score points and to help him do the same."
Schumacher, meanwhile, is impatient to be racing again but is taking his time to recover from cracked vertebrae. "My health is top of my list at the moment," Ralf commented. "I'm making progress everyday but I don't want to start speculating as to when I'll be making a return to the cockpit."
"Naturally I would love to jump back behind the wheel of a Formula One car, it's what I love doing. But I'm determined to take my time and only get back into the cockpit when I'm properly fit."
