1992 Formula 1 champion Nigel Mansell is selling a number of items of memorabilia from his personal collection at auction on 10 February 2026 without reserve with Budds.

The Nigel Mansell Collection features items from the 72-year-old's personal archives, including the 1993 IndyCar Rookie of the Year trophy, a 1992 Williams-Renault full-size replica helmet signed by Mansell, a pair of race boots signed by Mansell and a 1992 British Grand Prix limited edition model car, also signed by the champion.

The highest-ticket item is the IndyCar rookie trophy, which has an estimate of £2500-£3000. The signed replica helmet follows with an estimate of £1000-£1500.

"Hi everybody! Nigel Mansell Personal Collection is going under the hammer in February 2026 at Budds.com," the 1992 champion said in an Instagram video.

"Own a piece of my personal collection. I want these items to be appreciated by you, the fans.

"This is a unique opportunity, but you will have to be quick because I might buy some of them back," he added with a chuckle.

Over his F1 career, Mansell accumulated one championship win, 31 grand prix wins, 59 podium finishes, 32 pole positions and 30 fastest laps. In addition to his time in F1, he competed in IndyCar and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Mansell has sold off various parts of his personal collection over recent years. In 2023, a 324-piece collection of memorabilia owned by the former Williams driver sold over £2million at auction with RM Sotheby's.

"This was very, very unusual to be able to buy pretty much every single item that Nigel has won from karting through to F1 and IndyCar," Peter Haynes, European director of marketing at RM Sotheby’s, said at the time.

"The trophies are remarkable. Some are fabulously ornate and would have been spectacularly expensive to produce.

"Until now, very few Mansell crash helmets have found their way onto the market — unlike today’s drivers, he said that typically he might only have two helmets a season."
