Mercedes drivers have locked out the front row of the grid at Portimao, with Valtteri Bottas lining up on pole position ahead of world champion Lewis Hamilton.
Having lost his best lap in qualifying to a track limits infringement, Max Verstappen starts the race from third on the grid in the lead Red Bull, with teammate Sergio Perez alongside him in fourth.
