The Renault F1 Team is delighted to announce the conclusion of an agreement with Processia Solutions as an official supplier to the team.

Processia Solutions, based in Blainville, Canada, specialise in the implementation of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems. Their contribution to the Renault F1 Team will help enhance integration and efficiency within the design, build and exploitation sectors of vehicle construction and development.

The design and build process of a Formula 1 car is a complex web of specialist technologies and applications -- expert design software must be integrated with hi-tech production technologies and complex exploitation systems.

For every sector, there is a specialised application designed in isolation; in Formula 1, the unique challenge comes from making these technologies function in harmony, to produce the end product, a Formula 1 car capable of challenging for the World Championship.

Processia Solutions will bring their expertise to the sectors of Design, Production and Circuit Exploitation within the Renault F1 Team. In smoothing communications, information transfer and data translation between these sectors, efficiency gains of up to 15% are predicted in some sectors -- optimising performance, and freeing valuable resources to pursue additional design and development projects.

Processia Solutions' comprehensive approach to quantifying, developing and implementing efficiency gains will accompany the Renault F1 Team step by step as they shorten and enhance the design cycle for new cars and development parts.

Renault F1 Team Technical Director Bob Bell commented:

"Competitiveness in Formula 1 is about the ability to build a quick car, and maintain its development throughout the season. While we work our resources to full capacity, we must also be attentive to the manner in which we do this, and how we make best use of the tools available to us."

"Processia will help us eliminate the bottlenecks that can slow the constant quest for performance, contributing to our efficiency and productivity across the board. We are confident that the results for the Renault F1 Team will be extremely positive, and immediate."
