Once again it was a McLaren at the top of the times at Jerez, making it four days in a row the Woking squad set the pace. Kimi Raikkonen clocked 1:16.305 for the fastest time of the day on Friday. Team tester Alex Wurz was also on track and was 10th on the time sheet. Pedro de la Rosa will continue work for McLaren over the weekend.

Nick Heidfeld was in good form for Williams and set the second fastest time, four tenths down on Raikkonen. Antonio Pizzonia was sixth quickest and the pair worked on set up, traction control and tyres. Heidfeld will continue tomorrow at Jerez as Michelin carries out a wet tyre programme.
"We finished our dry weather testing today with Mark, Antonio and Nick all working for us this week," said Williams technical director Sam Michael. "We have again covered a lot of mileage on the new gearbox and associated systems, as well as working on tyre testing and traction control."
Rubens Barrichello was third fastest for Ferrari, followed by team tester Luca Badoer. The pair completed tyre and new component work. Ralf Schumacher was the quicker of the two Toyotas on duty, fifth, and tester Ricardo Zonta was eighth.
"I had an engine problem on Wednesday, but it didn't really harm our programme because it was at the end of its life anyway," said Schumacher. "Apart from that it has been a trouble-free week. On the last two days we tested more tyre compounds for next year, doing some more long runs on Friday."
Neel Jani was the quicker of the two Red Bull cars, seventh, although Christian Klien was just a tenth behind in ninth. Franck Montagny and Giancarlo Fisichella were 11th and 12th respectively for Renault, working on chassis development and tyres. Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato wound up BAR's test with 13th and 14th.
