Red Bull reveals launch date for new F1 car
Red Bull is to wait until the day before official pre-season testing starts to unveil its 2017 Formula 1 car.
The Milton Keynes-based outfit has been widely tipped to challenge for the world championship this year, with the new rules expected to play to its strengths.
In a bid to maximise the development time it is able to put into the car, the team will reveal its RB13 on February 26 – the day before testing begins at Barcelona.
The team revealed the date on Twitter, but did not confirm a location.
Sister team Toro Rosso is launching its car at the Barcelona track on the same day.
The first launch events take place next week, with Sauber revealing images of its new challenge on Monday. There also be unveilings for Renault, Force India, Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari.
