The Renault F1 Team continued testing at the Circuit de Catalunya today with Robert Kubica in the R30.

Circuit: Barcelona
Length: 4.6 km

Driver: Robert Kubica
Chassis: R30-03

Total Laps: 53 laps
Fastest Lap: 1:24.912

Summary of the day: Another sunny day gave good conditions for testing. The team spent the morning focussed on shorter runs and set-up work, but ran limited laps in the afternoon.

Robert Kubica: "It's frustrating to lose track time this afternoon because of a problem with the suspension, but I'm sure the team will get on top of the issue so that we can have a good weekend. We have some new aero parts coming for the car on Saturday and Sunday, which will help improve the pace of the car."

Alan Permane, Chief Engineer: "Robert was in the car today for his first laps at Barcelona in the R30. We spent the morning doing some set-up work, but in the afternoon we had a problem with the suspension, which limited our running. We're still looking into the issue and will have the car fixed and ready for tomorrow morning."

Barcelona Test Schedule 27-28 February:
Saturday 27 February: Vitaly Petrov
Sunday 28 February: Robert Kubica
