As part of its Roadshow programme, the ING Renault F1 Team is making preparations for a special demonstration on the streets of the Portuguese capital on the 26th of October.
After Johannesburg, Rotterdam and most recently Kiev, the ING Renault F1 Team has been working for several weeks on preparations for its latest demonstration in Lisbon, which will be the team's first visit to Portugal.
The team's test and third driver, Lucas Di Grassi, will be the man behind the wheel of the R27 in three weeks time to give the public in Lisbon an unforgettable experience.
The track will wind through some of the most famous roads in the Portuguese capital and should allow the ING Renault F1 Team to give a special display in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, which is what the Roadshow programme is all about.
"We are really looking forward to this demonstration on the streets of Lisbon," explained Colin Hale, the technical coordinator for the ING Renault F1 Team's Roadshow activities. "Each event is a new challenge for us and an opportunity to improve the show that we put on. We can't wait to see the reaction of the public and will do everything to make this event special as Lisbon echoes to the sounds of our Formula 1 cars for the first time."
