Rotterdam meets Robert Doornbos

It is a dream for most drivers, but Minardi's new recruit Robert Doornbos is about to make it happen in only the early stages of his turbulent career on August 07: driving his Formula One car in the most famous streets of his hometown Rotterdam in front of a massive crowd!

'Monaco on the Maas' offers demonstrations and parades of international racingcars and drivers competing in the world's highest motorsport series. Robert Doornbos is scheduled to finish the exciting programm at the temporary racetrack in the streets of downtown Rotterdam at approximately 16:30 hours with a spectacular demo run in his Minardi-Cosworth Formula One car.

Next to the scheduled demo run, Doornbos will attend the biggest motorsports event The Netherlands have ever held the entire day to make sure everyone can meet and greet the Dutch new F1 ace in person and obtain as much as autographs, pictures and answers to their personal questions as one desires. During the event all new items of the Official Robert Doornbos Merchandise range will also be for sale at several stands.

"Absolutely fantastic that Rotterdam now has its own F1 event and of course its own Formula One driver! I can't hardly wait to drive with my Minardi at the Coolsingel, Hofplein and Mariniersweg at August 07. For me, it will really feel like 'Monaco on the Maas': in the streets I normally only drive in a roadcar, I can now go flat out in my F1 car!
