San Marino GP Minardi race notes

Luca Badoer Chassis 01 8th Time: 1:33:53.344

"I'm very happy because I really had hoped to finish the race. I drove my car keeping a good rythm and I fought tooth and nail. Unfortunately I ran the last fifteen laps with only three gears left and that didn't help me. However, I am very satisfied with this result."

"To finish among the first ten is a great satisfaction. It was a hard race but everything turned out to be excellent. The car is definitely reliable. A big thanks goes to the crew as all the lads did an excellent job sorting out all the previous problems.The team deserves ten out of ten. I would have wished to go faster but unfortunately I had a lot of oversteer on the car. In the end, I have now added 62 laps more to my experience and I look forward to be in Montecarlo."

"After a hard weekend, to cross the finishing line with both cars is very positive for us despite our performance was not brilliant. Unfortunately Luca experienced a problem with the third gear otherwise he could have finished seventh. That would have been good for us. This proves to be another step ahead which encourages us to continue the work we are carrying out. "

On May 4th and 5th, the Team will test at Fiorano in preparation for the next race which will be held at Montecarlo.
