Sauber Silverstone test 2001-06-12-14

Team RED BULL SAUBER PETRONAS completed a three-day test at Silverstone today, in readiness for the next three Grands Prix.

Remi Decorzent (Race Engineer): "We spent this morning evaluating a new aerodynamic package and validating it against wind tunnel predictions, and were satisfied with the outcome. We also did further set-up work on the electro-hydraulic differential and traction control. Unfortunately the morning session began late and was interrupted by red flags when other drivers had incidents on the track. This afternoon we switched to evaluation of Bridgestone's different tyre compounds, and have plenty of data to assess prior to the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring next week."

Kimi Räikkönen: "We got through a fair amount of work today considering how often the session had to be stopped several times by red flags."
