West McLaren Mercedes and Schüco are pleased to announce an increase and lengthening of their current long-term Partnership. Schüco's aim to be the leading provider of windows + solar energy technology fits well with West McLaren Mercedes ambition of being the best Formula One team.

Schüco's new logo "Schüco, windows + solar" will be prominently displayed on the front of the overalls of drivers' Kimi Raikkonen, Juan Pablo Montoya, Alexander Wurz and Pedro de la Rosa. The Schüco branding will also continue to appear on the sleeve of the Drivers' overalls as well as the rear wing endplate of the MP4-20.

Dirk U. Hindrichs, CEO of Schüco Group said: "We have been working with West McLaren Mercedes to increase Schüco's global brand awareness for some years. Schüco is going to launch its successful solar energy products for heating and electricity generation in several world markets as well as continuing to increase its market share for windows and facades."

"Our Partnership with West McLaren Mercedes and Formula One will help us to enhance our brand building activities in the most efficient way. To support this strategy, we have increased and lengthened our current partnership with the team and we also hope that this signal will be a positive contribution to Kimi Raikkonen, Juan Pablo Montoya and the team in their efforts to win the 2005 Formula One World Championships."

Ron Dennis, Chairman and CEO of the McLaren Group commented: "During the Partnership with Schüco we have developed close ties with the company. As a result we are extremely pleased that the decision has been made not only to lengthen but also to further deepen our relationship. This commitment to the team and Formula One is great news and we look forward to continue winning with the support of Schüco."
