Terry Crews brought his 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix to an end by serenading race winner Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and George Russell with a rendition of A Thousand Miles, a callback to his iconic moment in the movie White Chicks.
The Hollywood actor was at the wheel of a driveable LEGO 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special, built from more than 400,000 bricks, as part of the latest activation in the multi-year partnership between Formula 1 and the LEGO Group. The open-top "cool-down car" collected the three podium sitters before transporting them to the Bellagio fountains for their post-race interviews.
Once the three drivers had squeezed themselves into the back seats and perched oversized sunglasses on their noses, the Dutchman suggested they needed music. Crews, driving the car, launched into action with a rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s A Thousand Miles - a song he famously sings in the 2004 Wayans Brothers movie.
With the actor recreating the scene, the three drivers in the back of the car fell about laughing.
The pink Cadillac had been parked in the paddock all weekend after it was confirmed that LEGO would be joining F1 Academy from next year on a multi-year contract. But this creation also doubled as a promotion for the Cadillac F1 team's upcoming entry to the grid, with Crews himself being an ambassador for the outfit.

“The FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX has quickly become an iconic cornerstone in the F1 calendar, and it’s been fantastic to work with the LEGO Group to bring new ideas and creativity to fans," Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer of Formula 1 and President and CEO of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, said. "We’re always pushing boundaries both on and off track, and once again our partnership with LEGO Group upped the ante.
"It’s been an incredible first year working together, and we can’t wait for fans to see what else we have planned for the future.”
