Valtteri Bottas's first race-used Cadillac Formula 1 helmet will go up for auction with F1 Authentics, operated by Memento Exclusives.

The Finnish driver wore the helmet at the 2026 season-opening Australian Grand Prix, his first race as a Cadillac F1 driver after the American outfit joined the grid as the 11th team this year.

The helmet features a black and electric blue design and, while it is in race-worn condition, it is "remarkably unblemished," according to the auction house.

"My race-worn helmet from Melbourne this year. My first ever race for Cadillac [and] my first ever race for GM," Bottas explained of the auction.

"A big moment for me, making my return to Formula 1, this piece is something special and now, it could be yours. It will be auctioned by F1 Authentics, which is the only licensed platform, during the Miami weekend, so check it out. It’s a really important piece for me and it's going to be amazing to share it with you."

The auction is live now and will run until Tuesday 5 May as part of the F1 Authentics Miami GP Auction. At the time of writing, the current bid is £3,900, but it is estimated to reach between £40,000 and £50,000.

Bottas joined Cadillac after a year out of a full-time F1 seat. Having lost his seat at Sauber at the end of 2025, Bottas signed with his former team, Mercedes, as a reserve driver, but was eager to secure another full-time seat for 2026.

The former Mercedes driver has been joined by ex-Red Bull driver Sergio Perez to form an experienced driver line-up at Cadillac.

After the first three rounds of the season, Bottas and Perez sit 19th and 20th in the drivers' standings, only ahead of the two Aston Martin drivers.
