Jos Verstappen will not test for Jordan at Silverstone nest week as originally planned. The Dutchman was due to test for one day at the UK track but has cancelled as he can't get comfortable in the car.
Verstappen went for a seat fitting recently but a suitable solution couldn't be found -- Jos is somewhat taller than all three of Jordan's current drivers. "When you can't sit properly in the car you are not able to perform 100%," Verstappen told his website.
"We had to think long and hard about this decision, together with our sponsors. It is a shame, both for Jordan and myself. I have to thank the Jordan mechanics for their efforts; they worked very hard to try to give me a good sitting position in the JordanF1 car."
Apparently Verstappen's posture is a problem, something he encountered before when having a seat fitting for Sauber.
