Where are Indians racing this weekend (September 1-3)

Some of India's top racing drivers and teams will be in action this weekend in Europe - the heartland of motorsport. We've compiled a comprehensive list...

After the two incidents between Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon in Belgium, Force India would be hoping for a less controversial Italian Grand Prix.

Since the last round, the Silverstone-based team has decided not to let its drivers race wheel-to-wheel.

As far as the characteristics of the Monza circuit are concerned, the long straight should play into the hands of the Mercedes-powered outfit. However, as the Spa-Francorchamps round showed, Force India will have to up its game if it is to beat Renault to be the best midfield squad.

A double points finish is the minimum result expected from the team, should its drivers not crash into each other.

Arjun Maini arrives in Monza after a confidence-boosting, double points result at Spa. The 19-year-old qualified a stellar third in a wet session, before finishing fourth and sixth in the two dry races.

Given how the previous round went, Maini will be vying for another top-five finish at Monza.

He currently sits eighth in the championship, only 10 points behind Jenzer teammate and sixth-placed Alessio Lorandi.

Ameya Vaidyanathan (EuroFormula Open Silverstone)

Ameya Vaidyanathan would be aiming to bounce back in the EuroFormula Open, after a retirement in Hungary saw him slip behind Nikita Troitskiy to third in the drivers' championship.

Vaidyanathan has upped the ante significantly this year, having won one race and scored two further podium finishes so far.

While the title is out of his reach, one can expect the Carlin driver to consistently secure podiums and retake the second spot in the standings.

Tarun Reddy (EuroFormula Open Silverstone)

Tarun Reddy enters the second half of the EuroFormula Open season revitalised, eager to put his early-season struggles behind him.

If his form in British F3 is any indicator, he should re-emerge as a frontrunner sooner rather than later.

Crucially, Reddy has switched from Carlin to Drivex in the summer break. It would be interesting to see how he gels with the new squad.
