Mercedes v Alfa Romeo: F1 front wing airflow explained

Formula 1's new rules for 2019 have resulted in a mix of approaches from the teams to the new dimensions for the front wings. To explain the different concepts properly, we've taken one from each end of the spectrum: the conventional Mercedes design and the radical Alfa Romeo solution, to show the different ways their wings are trying to manage the airflow.
