Rookie Podium for Berthon: 3rd. place in the rookie category, 4th. in the general classification of Race 2!
Great race for Nathanael Berthon of Draco Team that recovers 10 positions and he reaches the 4o. place at the finishing line and the 3o. place in the classification of rookies, conquering the first cup of the season.
The second competition of the Championship World Series Renault 3.5 2010 has started this afternoon at 2 pm in the circuit of Motorland in Alcaniz, Spain.
A very exciting race, constituted by different passing and changes in the classification, thanks also to the obligatory pit stop, with the change of 2 back or anterior tires.
The perfect and fast Pit Stop of Draco Team, as we are used to see with the good mechanics of the Team Champion 2009, they have helped the drivers in their scaling to the first positions. Julian Leal starts well and recovers different places in the classification, but unfortunately an out-track stops his recovery at few minutes to the end.
The race of Berthon instead, after different breathless overtakings, it's concluded on the podium of rookies, positioning 3o. among the rookie category in the Championship, and 4o. in the final classification, even earning 10 positions in comparison to the start grid.
The week-end in Alcaniz ends therefore with different points in one's pocket for the team Draco, that they will be surely very precious during the Championship. Now the appointment in to SPA, in Belgium, on May 1-2.
