SATISFACTION AND FRUSTRATION AFTER FIRST TEST
Le Castellet, 20th February 2005 - After the fastest time set by Alx Danielsson yesterday the Team was optimistic for Maldonado's test today. Unfortunately the young Venezuelian crashed during the morning session. Even if the team pushed hard to rebuild the car Maldonado could only drive 5 laps at the end of this day and did not have the opportunity to use new tyres.
Jean-Paul Driot, CEO of DAMS : "Apparently Pastor is not responsible of this morning's crash, it is a shame because we have lost one day of testing. Any way I keep in mind that the team adapted very quickly with the car, Alx was impressive yesterday and I am sure Maldonado will have the opportunity to show his great potential at Barcelona this week."
Next test : Barcelona, 23 & 24 February <pre> Paul Ricard Test Day 2 - World Series 2005 - World Series Nissan car
