Adriano Morini Team Principal Draco leaves the Motorsport. "After 43 years of career, I retire with great satisfaction for all the results, I'm sure that my team will go forward to a successful future"
After 43 years of great career in the world of Motorsport, Adriano Morini, Team Principal International Draco Racing, announced his retirement from motorsport, concluding this brilliant journey with the final race of the 2010 season of the World Series by Renault Championship in the circuit of Barcelona.
The story of Mr. Morini began in the '60s when he was a young mechanic in the circus of motor racing. Since then, Morini has had more than 90 drivers in over 400 races, earning 115 victories and 8 European Championships. The name Morini has become over the years the symbol of a great story and career, seriousness and passion, talent and success, discovering and bringing to win drivers like Pedro Lamy, Rubens Barrichello, Ricardo Zonta, Felipe Massa, Nicky Pastorelli, Augusto Farfus, Pastor Maldonado and many other important drivers become protagonists in the international motorsport, with 10 of them arrived in Formula 1.
The withdrawal of Adriano Morini is certainly a great loss for the world of Motorsport, a world that Team Principal and Talent Scout leaves with melancholy but also a lot of satisfaction, sure to have written indelibly pages in the history of international motor racing.
Adriano Morini, Team Principal Draco:
"I took this decision in full serenity and with the highest satisfaction because I feel that this is the right moment to conclude a journey of great personal and professional fulfillment.
The Draco Team, who over the years has become a big name in International Motorsport with the strong and solid values always maintained, the seriousness of a team of professionals, the force based on team spirit that binds with the same intensity all the people who are or has been in the Draco big family, will continue his journey pursuing the same principles through the Team Manager Nadia Morini and all the staff that will remain unchanged. I'm sure that the team will have a bright future like in his past, discovering and creating the talent of tomorrow.
I thank all the people who have walked with me in this long road, some only for a season, others for decades, walking along beside a life dedicated to Motorsport. "
