Collective Tests, Day 2

Valencia, 14 April 2002 - Ricardo Zonta finally tested with his new Dallara Nissan SN01, and he was quickly on top of the list of timed laps. Right after, the Indian driver Narain Kartikheyan (RC Motorsport) set a very impressive lap, but he suffered a small accident afterwards.

Most of the teams decide to put new tyres and the times began to go down. Montagny set the fastets time during the morning session, lapping 1.23.504. The Belgian Bas Leinders and the Spaniard Antonio García, also in new tyres, were 7 and 8 decimes behind the Frenchman.

Justin Wilson, who is not on duty today (but it will be tomorrow on a privated session), reported to be very satisfied with the car and keen to compete in the new Series.

A full report will be available once the session's finished.
