Zolder: Draco Racing Thursday report

Winkelhock and Montanari fastest in the morning session of the free practice

The opening week-end of World Series by Renault Championship started in Zolder (Belgium), where the first sessions of free practice took place today - 28th April.

In the morning, the drivers of the Draco Multiracing USA Team tested their FR.3.5 cars with race setting: German Markus Winkelhock set the fastest lap - 1'19.431 -, while his team-mate Christian Montanari carried out the second best time - 1'19.932 -.

In the afternoon session, the Draco drivers tested new aerodynamic solutions with used tyres. S.Marino' Montanari has been forced to return into the pit early, because he damaged his single-seater slightly rubbing a curbstone.
