After a well earned break, the Australian Formula 3 Championship resumes at Winton Raceway, Victoria, for Round 7 next weekend.
Team BRM young gun, Karl Reindler, Dallara F301 Spiess Opel, broke through for his first podium finish during the previous round at Philip Island and heads to Winton confident of another strong performance. Despite not being able to test at Winton, the Team is confident this will not hamper the West Australian's performance. "One of Karl's greatest attributes is his ability to learn tracks very quickly" said Team Owner, Bronte Rundle. "We believe another podium finish is a real possibility and that Karl's first win is not that far away."
South Australian, Craig Rundle will again join Team BRM for this round at Winton in the Team's ex BSR Dallara F301 Spiess Opel, after an impressive performance at Oran Park earlier in the season. Rundle has previously raced at Winton Raceway and is confident of continuing to show his ability, despite the constant strain of budget limitations.
The team wishes to acknowledge the passing of Bill Rundle, father of team owner Bronte Rundle. Bill was a great supporter of Team BRM and motor sport, a life member of the Formula Vee Association of South Australia and the mentor for Bronte's extensive motor racing career.
