Monza to host the final battle for the title

The 2007 Italian Formula 3 Championship, one of the thighest of the last years, is going to live its thrilling finale at the Autodromo Nazionale of Monza. A few days before the last racing weekend of the season, with 24 points still unassigned, four drivers are battling for the title as well as for the GP2 prize test.

The leader of the classification, Paolo Maria Nocera, with his 91 points, seems to be slightly more favoured than Efisio Marchese that to be champion will need to recover the four points that separate him from the leadership. A bit more adrift, but still well determined to make the most of any twists, Pablo Sanchez Lopez standing at 78 points and Mirko Bortolotti at 76.

Down in the classification, the battle between Nicola de Marco and Fabrizio Crestani is worth a mention. Being separated by only a point, they will have to help their team mates while contending each other the fifth final place of the classification. A similar situation for Paolo Bossini and Augusto Scalbi, standing both at 29 points and battling for the eighth position.
