ALEXANDRE IMPERATORI TO ENTER FAMOUS MACAU F3 GRAND PRIX

Shanghai, 19.10.2009 As the year draws to an end, the famous Macau Grand Prix is looming closer. The blue ribbon F3 event is the traditional season finale for the top Formula 3 racers around the world: the best competitors of each F3 championship are invited to contest in the streets of the former portuguese colony to decide who is the Number 1 young driver in the world!

Thanks to his successes in Japan, Alexandre Imperatori has been selected as one of 31 drivers to race in Macau. Alexandre will also be the only Swiss to enter the event. For this occasion, the Shanghai-based Imperatori will race a Dallara powered by Volkswagen and prepared by the Kolles & Heinz team from Germany, in association with KCMG (Imperatori's team in Japan).

Alexandre Imperatori: "It is great to be selected to enter the Macau race. Every driver wants to come here to race as it is a fantastic opportunity so I look forward to a strong result there. I'm facing a steep learning curve because the track is very special. Besides, I will need to learn a new team, car and engine. But in the end I am sure we can have a good result there!"

The Grand Prix is reminiscent of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix for its unique atmosphere of glamour and entertainment. It is obviously also the most famous street race circuit, one which provides endless action to the viewers behind their TV, in the grandstands or even at the numerous balconies overviewing the track.

Out of the current 20 Formula 1 drivers, 16 have participated in the Macau F3 Grand Prix, clearly demonstrating the quality of the macanese event.

Make sure to follow this exciting race from 19th November to 22nd November.
