First place for Toccacelo and Coloni at Monza!

Monza (I) -- November 19th 2003- Not satisfied with what obtained yesterday, Enrico Toccacelo has dominated also the second day of the official test of F.I.A. Formula 3000 International at Monza.

The Italian driver today has not only taken with authority the first absolute place in the combined standings of the two days, but has also brightly beaten the pole of the 2003 Italian Gp (set in 1.38.4): 1.37.98 has been indeed the response of the chronometers for Toccacelo, with the second almost seven tenths off Enrico's time.

The excellent Coloni-comeback of Toccacelo has been followed by a very good performance of one driver at his first experience on the Lola of the Italian team, Rob Nguyen. The Australian has quickly got confident on the single-seater of Coloni Motorsport, so that, with the time of 1.39.06, he has taken the third place at the end of the day, showing off his qualities and confirming the high competitiveness of the team.

Enrico Toccacelo: "The car is excellent and we have been very quick. I have found a single-seater very competitive, perfect, and I have simply done my duty ".

Paolo Coloni, Team Principal: "Enrico has showed today all his huge potential, which makes him one of the drivers that will fight for the 2004 title. I'm happy with the result of Rob, who has driven with 2003 race setup, and I'm also very satisfied with the great development work done by our engineers, which is giving us a really competitive car on fast tracks too.
