Lourenço B. da Veiga shows good results in the BMW Formula Junior Cup Premier race at the Estoril Track

Young Portuguese Lourenço Beirão da Veiga, who premiered at the Estoril driving his BMW Formula Junior Cup, once again proved an excellent rhythm, ending the finale in second. This was Lourenço's third rise to the podium this season in a championship that is only on its third event.

" At the start I tried to overtake Filipe, but when we arrived at the first corner he was on the inside and it wasn't worth risking the overtake. I kept on attacking during the first laps, but he was faster and little by little the gap between us increased. Anyhow, I am quite pleased with this result and I am more and more adapted to the car. This was also the first race I ran at the Estoril track, so maybe next time I'll have more luck", remarked Lourenço Beirão da Veiga.

The second position Lourenço was able to attain at the Estoril race, maintains the Portuguese drive in the second position in the Trophy standings, immediately behind Filipe Figueiredo e Silva. <pre> Race Standings:
