Yet again British F3000 is going to attempt a return next season, according to Peter Briggs.
Ruberti disqualified
Paolo Ruberti was disqualified from third place last week when the roll bar was found to have a non-spec spacer in the roll bar. The stewards agreed there was no performance advantage, but rules are rules
Coloni protests
The Coloni team have protested about the marshals at Oschersleben damaging their F3000 car last week removing it from a gravel trap. 'If you break something, you must pay for it' said Paolo Coloni.
Drivers strike at Magione
Following the death of 1 driver in a test in March, and a second death in a support race at the Magione track, drivers in the Italian F3 championship decided not to race.
Bosch in delays
Bosch engine management systems have been allowed to be used in the BTCC whilst modifications are made to allow uploading of data to race officials, whilst in British F3 Bosch have been given until May 4th to sort it out. -- Stephen M Baines
