The Coca-Cola Nordic Racing team head to Silverstone, home of the British Formula One Grand Prix, following their recent testing success at Imola, Italy. The two-day test in Italy finished with Coca-Cola Nordic Racing driver Justin Wilson topping the timesheets as fastest driver, a position that the team are eager to replicate at Silverstone. With the season-opener in Brazil just weeks away, the two-day test at Silverstone will be the last chance that the drivers will have to work on their cars set-up before the first official qualifying sessions of the 2001 season, due to take place on Friday 30th March. "The Silverstone test will be important to the Coca-Cola Nordic Racing team for several reasons," commented Team Principal Derek Mower. "Firstly, this will be the last time that the drivers and team will have a chance to run before the opening race in Brazil. Secondly, it will be a good opportunity to prepare data ready for the Silverstone round in July. Our only concern will be the weather in March and how different this will be to that of July." Team Manager Chris Mower added: "We are looking forward to the Silverstone test where I am sure that both Justin and Tomas (Enge) will again be amongst the quickest drivers on the track. This will be our last chance to develop the cars before Brazil, where our first aim as a team is to qualify as close to the front of the grid as possible."
