Facu Regalia ends season in 7th

Facu Regalia reached the fifth position at a point in this weekend last race, but an opponent touched him, which send him to seventh at the end of the race.

The Spanish-Argentinean driver started very well, even though, when he arrived to the first chicane, he calmed down little to avoid any contact with his opponents. "I reacted very well to the lights, but the first chicane was a bit cramped and I slowed down a bit to prevent any incident. Then I started to recover positions reaching the leader group with the podium positions just ahead", said the eighteen years old driver.

However, the others drivers' aggressivity would touch the Eifelland Racing driver again - this time it was Javier Taracon the protagonist. When Facu Regalia was on the Carlos Sainz jr. tow, two laps from the end, Javier Tarancon tried to overtake him at Ascari on the outside, something which is almost impossible to do. There was contact between both drivers, something that cost time to the Spanish-Argentinean, who saw the chequered flag in the seventh place. "Sainz braked too soon and I realized that Tarancon was attacking me on the outside. We made contact but, at least, I didn't lose too much time. Though, I lost the first group and I ended seventh", said disappointed Facu Regalia.
