Antoine Bessette - successful test days in Toyota Atlantic

Last November 22 and 23, Antoine did two test days at Buttonwillow with Brooks Associates Racing which is competing in the Toyota Atlantic Series. The test days went very well and results were convincing. John Brooks, team owner, was quite impressed by the young Canadian driver's talent and attitude.

"His driving style contradicts the fact that he has only driven competitively for two years - he is smooth, confident and comfortable. His times were consistent with any number of veteran Atlantic drivers and he will be a contender in the Atlantic series in 2005."

For his part, Antoine had a big smile on his face. "The car was well prepared. I enjoyed very much working with the team, they are very professional. I liked the feeling of going in corners with great speed. I ran about 160 miles per day. John Brooks and engineer, Peter Jacobs, made me at ease right from the beginning."

Antoine is actually discussing with Brooks Associates Racing for next season in Toyota Atlantic. Another team is also interested in giving him a try. Story to be followed...
