High-class field for Formula BMW World Final in Valencia.
Just less than a month to go before the Formula BMW World Final in Valencia on 24th and 25th November 2007, and the list of competitors at the highlight of the Formula BMW season is complete. 35 drivers from 19 nations will battle it out at the "Circuit de la Comunitat Ricardo Tormo" for a chance to take a test drive with the BMW Sauber F1 Team.
All four international Formula BMW series, in which points and victories were fiercely contested in 2007, are sending their best drivers to Spain. Jens Klingmann (GER), the overall winner of Formula BMW Germany, will be present, as will the Formula BMW USA champion, Daniel Morad (CAN). The British series is sending two strong candidates for good positions in Valencia, in the form of Josef Kral (CZE), who finished second in the drivers' classification, and Henry Arundel (GBR).
It is highly likely that the new Formula BMW Asia champion will also compete in the World Final: the current leader, Jazeman Jafaar (MAS) and his closest rival Zahir Ali (IND) have both registered for the season finale. The Asian series will not be decided until this coming weekend in Zhuhai (CHN).
However, the junior talents from around the world are not the only ones guaranteeing excitement at the Formula BMW World Final. Famous BMW racing cars, like the BMW M3 GTR and BMW V12 LMR, will also be on display. In addition, a varied family program awaits Spanish motor racing fans in the paddock and the inner area of the circuit, which will be used for driving activities. The BMW Sauber F1 Team will also be visiting Valencia, and will thrill the public with the exciting BMW Sauber F1.07 Formula 1 car. <pre> Entry list for the 2007 Formula BMW World Final:
