Durango GP2 qualifying and Speedcar practice report

THREE TENTH LOST AND A STUPID MISTAKE

GP2 qualifying in Bahrain a bit under the expectations today for Durango, Davide Valsecchi took P10 while Michael Dalle Stelle made a mistake just after exiting the pitlane, losing the entire session. Davide set for three times the best first sector time but without being so good in the second, so he lost three tenths that were meaning the fifth place on the starting grid.

"I did not suffer technical problems -- Davide Valsecchi said -- simply I did not drove as I was supposed to do the second sector. Tomorrow I will have to be particularly aware at the start, then I will try to get as much point as possible".

Michael Dalle Stelle said: "After the free practice I was quite confident to do a dignified qualifying session, on the contrary I made the most stupid of the mistakes just five hundred meters after the pit exit. I did something very stupid but I learnt the lesson".

In speedcar Villeneuve and Zoechling finished the free practice at P8 and P11, they both had some minor technical problems that have already been fixed for tomorrow qualifying.
