BAD WEATHER FIRST TIME
Bad weather at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track but very good lap time for Durango, which took this morning first position thanks to a fast lap drove by Davide Valsecchi who declared: "I can say to be quite happy because Durango always give me a fast car with every kind of track conditions. This morning we did everything well, we went out on dry tyres at the right moment setting the fastest lap. But in the afternoon we have been waiting too long, we went out on new dry rubber exactly when it started to rain again. Tomorrow the weather should remain the same so we will have to be particularly aware in exploiting the periods without rain". Marcello Puglisi said: "Under the rain I have been quite fast, I was constantly in the top five, I had bad luck when the track was drying but today the weather conditions have been really complicated".
