Prémat vows to fight back in Hungary
I head to the Hungarian Grand Prix looking to consolidate my third place in the drivers' championship and do what I can to close the gap to second place. I really like Budapest, especially because this weekend will be the anniversary of my first GP2 series win and it holds a very special place in my heart.
I'm ready to race at one of my better circuits after my Hockenheim disappointment. I still feel that I was unfairly blamed by the race stewards for the accident with Yoshimoto and will now suffer for it at Hungary where I'll be forced to take a ten-place grid penalty. I guess that's just an even bigger reason for me to drive as hard as ever and climb back up the order and fight to win the race.
Last year I finished fourth in the first race at the Hungaroring after starting from the back and then went on to win the second one. The track is very difficult for overtaking and a bit of a challenge for the engineers because of the extreme heat and the subsequent high system temperatures that need to be kept in check. Despite my handicap, I need to compete for points, which have become increasingly precious. I promise to fight back in Hungary.
