GP3 champion Alex Lynn kept the DAMS team on top of the timesheets on the second day of GP2 testing at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.

The Briton, however, did not match the benchmark time set yesterday by teammate Pierre Gasly.

Lynn's best of 1:49.648, set in the morning session, was nearly a full second slower than Gasly's time from yesterday.

The Frenchman continued to show good pace today too, finishing as third quickest behind Lynn and Norman Nato.

The DAMS duo was split by Nato, who set the second fastest time of the day with the quickest time in the afternoon session in the Arden car.

Since the start of the day most drivers focused on long runs and race simulations under windy conditions.

Raffaele Marciello had another promising day in the Trident car, finishing as fourth quickest ahead of McLaren junior Stoffel Vandoorne.

Campos Racing's Rio Haryanto triggered the first red flag of the day when he stopped near the start/finish line an hour from the lunch break.

Nato caused the second stoppage later on, his car coming to a half at Turn 20.
