During Race 2 Andreas Zuber has been pushed out of track by another driver during the first lap, while Gimmi Bruni finished in the back positions but earning the point for the fastest lap.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi - Team Principal
"After the fantastic weekend in Imola, here at the Nuerburgring our potential did not drive the team towards the results we can achieve. In fact a mistake during qualifying ruined the whole event. In Gp2 if you don't start in front you take the risk to remain stuck in the traffic even if you are faster. This is what happened to us here in Germany. Andreas Zuber has always been very fast and he was deserving to finish in the points in front of his public. We are sorry because once more Andreas showed his talent but the championship classification is not friendly with him. Gimmi Bruni drove the whole race with great effort even if he started from the back, constantly lapping half a second faster than all other drivers. His determination is the evidence that even during an unlucky weekend he is always willing to fight for an important result. Now the championship classification is compact and the season enters into a crucial stage, making mistakes simply will not be allowed. I'd like to thank all the boys in the team for the job they did and for the reliability of our cars".
