Ocean Racing Technology wanting to get back into the points in Silverstone As GP2 reaches mid-season
Ocean Racing Technology has arrived at the Silverstone circuit with the firm intention of picking up the points they have lacking for the last three rounds of the 2010 GP2 Championship season.
In Valencia two weeks ago, Ocean Racing Technology was confronted with set up issues while its drivers, Fabio Leimer and Mmax Chilton, were the innocent victims of incidents which prevented them from fighting with the frontrunners.
The two races at Silverstone will be a new challenge for the Portuguese team and its drivers as the circuit which accommodated the first Grand Prix of the Formula One world championship back in 1950, and will play host to the 61st edition this year, has been redeveloped. The grip conditions, the behavior of the single-seaters and the learning of the new layout will therefore be key factors this weekend.
For Fabio Leimer, Silverstone has to be a new start for Ocean Racing Technology and for Max Chilton, the Silverstone event is particularly important as the British driver will be racing in front of his home crowd.
For the Silverstone event the skies should not be too overcast and the maximum temperatures should be around 24o.C. Ocean Racing Technology is the only Portuguese Racing team to take part in a major FIA sanctioned championship and they have secured one victory so far this year, on the on the first round at Barcelona, Spain.
