Sirotkin's 2015 form convinced me to join Rapax, says Pic
GP2 driver Arthur Pic has said that Sergey Sirotkin's rookie performances in 2015 played a part in the Frenchman's decision to join Rapax.

Sirotkin finished third in his first GP2 campaign with Rapax and has since joined forces with reigning champion ART, with Pic replacing him at the Italian squad.
Speaking to Motorsport.com about the reasons behind his move, Pic said: "Of course, the fact that Rapax got results last year with a rookie [was crucial].
"That they finished third in the championship with a rookie – that’s very good in GP2, where the level is so tough."
The Frenchman also noted that Rapax limiting itself to just GP2 was a factor in him choosing the team.
"It’s a team that only does GP2," he said. "All the personnel are focussed 100 percent on GP2.
"I think that’s rather positive: these days, there are a lot of teams with their fingers in a lot of pies; someone who is a GP2 engineer will often need to do things other than GP2.
"Unfinished business"
Pic, a GP2 race winner at the Hungaroring in 2014, has thus far spent two years in the category - both with Campos - yielding seventh overall in his rookie year and 11th in the sophomore campaign.
"2014 was a very positive year, but 2015 was quite difficult, for reasons that aren’t clear to me," Pic said.
"The performance wasn’t there; I did not really understand why and neither did the team. I had the feeling of unfinished business, so I wanted to do another year to show what I was capable of.
"Clearly, the goal is to fight for the title. I think Rapax showed last year it had a car that can win races, and with my experience in GP2, we can really create a good package."
