Wet weather in the morning - dry in the afternoon At the end of the day the debut for Trident Racing is positive. The program consisted in checking that everything was alright and not in setting a fast lap. Despite the fact that it has been just something a bit more than a shake down, both drivers achieved good times. A special acknowledgement must be credited to all the technical personnel for their hard work in successfully putting together the cars.

"The car with 2006 spec is very nice to drive, because it allows to brake late and be aggressive while cornering, exactly as I like. The slick tyres guarantee a lot of grip and make the car turn very well. I'm satisfied even of my best lap because it came without pushing, which means I get a lot of potential at my disposal. Tomorrow I hope everything will be alright because I have three sets of new tyres to exploit looking for the fast lap. In the end I believe this first day at the wheel of a Trident Racing car has been positive".

"What an emotion! Even if I couldn't go for long runs, because my program consisted in a sequence of three four lap runs to set up many parameters, I understood that the potential is very good. The feedback with my staff has been very efficient and sensible. Tomorrow I should have the chance to drive for longer runs exploiting the slick tyres that I definitely like. At the beginning of the day I felt a special emotion, quite as when you get out with a new girlfriend for the first date, and now that the day is over I'm looking forward to meet her again tomorrow".
