The team, which will run Antonio Felix da Costa and local hero Salvador Duran at the first ever Mexican ePrix next weekend, will unveil the new livery ahead of the race.

Team Aguri has confirmed that ArgoGlobal, an international underwriter of specialty insurance products in the property and casualty market, will have prominent logos on the cars for the rest of the season.

ArgoGlobal, which has a history of racing sponsorship, is set to be the first of two significant deals for the team.

“ArgoGlobal and Formula E are an ideal match, and I'm delighted to announce our partnership with Team Aguri to bring the Formula E message of sustainable, team-driven innovation and performance to broader audiences around the world,” commented Argo Group CEO Mark E. Watson III.

“Our values of innovation, courage, team culture and commitment match those of this great new sporting event.”

The deal with ArgoGlobal was masterminded by Team Aguri Commercial Director, Keith Smout. Motorsport.com revealed the former BAR, Jaguar and Jordan appointment at the team back in May.

“ArgoGlobal’s business objectives are very much aligned with our own,” said Smout. “We are proud to partner with them and provide a global platform for their brand at the forefront of EV development and sustainable technology.”
