From #Safie to icebergs: a journey through the paddock at the Paris ePrix

A race through the heart of Paris is definitely not something you see every day. The Paris ePrix was an historic sporting event, with motor sport returning to the scene of the very first real motor race, held 120 years ago, the Paris-Rouen. However, in addition, last weekend’s event was the ideal platform to promote the messages that constitute the second cornerstone of the International Federation, namely mobility.
Over the weekend, the paddock, set up on the open space of the military complex, Les Invalides, hosted drivers, authorities, VIPS and many, many spectators who were able to show their support for campaigns promoted or supported by the FIA, such as #SaveKidsLives, launched last year by the United Nations and important initiatives set up on the World Earth Day, such as the Formula E car with a livery representing an iceberg, which was the idea of Lapo Elkann’s Garage Italia.
