September 20th-21st, 8th race of 2008 F3 Euro Series came to the famous Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona.

In Friday's qualifying, Cheng Congfu had very good performance; he was the 3rd fastest one among the 7 drivers who signed with Volkswagen and the grid position for him on Saturday was 14th, which was the ever best of all the races he participated in. However, in the two rounds in following two days, he was not lucky enough to improve, the respective positions for him to pass the finish line were 21st and 20th.

After the race, Cheng Congfu says: I have to say, the results were not so satisfactory, I feel a little sad. Nevertheless, we still should look forward, we still have our target, and we still should try our best. 4 rounds left now, nobody knows what will happen.

Next race of 2008 F3 Euro Series will be held in Le Mans, France on October 3 to 5.
