As one of the most successful kart drivers in Brazilian motorsport history, he is supported by former Formula 1 racers Emerson Fittipaldi and Alex Dias Ribeiro.

The 22-year-old, who will pilot a Mercedes-powered Dallara F312 in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, is a welcome addition to Double R’s ranks and team owner Anthony ‘Boyo’ Hieatt is confident Guimaraes has what it takes to deliver a consistently strong campaign.
