Swiss Team Principal Jo Zeller relied on the services of Tatiana Calderón and Sandro Zeller, this year. The Colombian, the only female driver on the FIA Formula 3 European Championship grid, succeeded in demonstrating her talent several times and together with her Swiss team-mate, she secured eighth position in the 2014 team championship, for Jo Zeller Racing.

Tatiana Calderón joined the team only shortly after the season had begun and proved to have her problems, in the opening stages. But after having familiarised herself with her new team she was a regular top-10 contender.

At the legendary Ardennes Rollercoaster of Spa-Francorchamps she made for her personal season highlight by finishing fifth, in one of the races. With this result, she also scored her first points in the planet’s most competitive young-gun series.

From Spa, points on every race

A success that represented a major boost for the self-confidence of the 21-year old, and so, she succeeded in adding another 19 points to her tally, afterwards. From Spa-Francorchamps, Calderón who resides in Madrid scored points on every single race weekend to finish 15th in the drivers’ championship, in the end.

Switzerland’s Sandro Zeller contested the 2014 season as driver and mechanic and had to learn that doing so is anything but easy, on the high level represented by the FIA Formula 3 European Championship.

Nonetheless, the 23-year old secured several good results – particularly at Hockenheim. In the season kick-off at Hockenheim he was just pipped in the battle for a top-10 position and finished 11th. And he made it to the top-15 at the Norisring and Hockenheim.
