Berlin (rol/ot) The German Team kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport from Berlin contracted the first driver for the FIA Formula 3 European Championship season 2015. It will be the Italian Michele Beretta. The 20 year old driver from Ello, located in the Lombardei about 40 km north east of Milan, had his debut at this championship last season.
He will be behind the wheel of a Dallara Mercedes for the racing stable from the German capital city. This week he and his new team had completing test drives in Valencia (Spain) before the winter break.
I think he is able to drive into the top ten steadily in 2015.

“Michele is a young and talented driver, who has a good driving potential. He experienced the high class and hard fought FIA Formula 3 European Championship already last season. Now it is time for him to gather more experience and to learn more and more“, team principal Peter Mücke said. “Together, we will try to bring out the best of him in his second year. We build on our great training program, which was the main reason for Michele to work with us, to achieve that. I think he is able to drive into the top ten steadily in 2015.“
And for the Italian it has been a logical step to continue at the FIA Formula 3 European Championship after he gathered important experience in his first year. “I am very excited to be able to drive for such a professional team like kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport“, Michele Beretta said, who finished second at the Italian Formula Abarth in 2013.
“Together with my management, 4 Motorsport, we chose the Team Mücke Motorsport of Peter Mücke and his successful crew not only for their expertise and experience but also for the success of the racing stable from the German capital city.“
Already after the first test drives at the Lausitzring and in Barcelona, Michele Beretta felt good with the team and with the car. “The test drives in Valencia were good for me to improve my pace and to get to know the car and my new team better.
Together, we want to be completely prepared for the coming season“, the Italian said. The first racing weekend of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship 2015 is scheduled from 10th to 12th of April in Silverstone (England).
